The hatch, an alternative band from Sapporo, Hokkaido, will be releasing the single "Refused to Calm days" on Monday, December 28, 2020.
There is a different smell.
It is the pus of 2020 liters that should have struggled, but was swayed by the times, and made the bones and flesh rot. They sing about the reality that melts into ambiguity with maximum irony, and their love song is just broken.
I just want to keep turning
I want to keep turning
The more I get used to the scenery, the more I turn my back on it
I don't want to go home yet because I feel comfortable with my skin frightened by the shading rain
The things I've overlooked, the you I'll never meet
Reflected on the screen, painted in a constant state of confusion
In the flaws, in the richness
I'm looking for a way out of my shirt
I thought I had struggled, but time has swayed me
Frightened by mistakes, I look away again
I thought I was dry, but I guess my sleeves are wet
I want to move on, even now, so much so that I can forgive
The more I think about the dazzling irritation, the more it flows
The more I think about the sinking evening darkness, the more it flows
"The season belongs to you.
"Alone" is yours
in a word
With a smile on my face, I pile on the violence of kind words.
The "peaceful days" of you and me that were born
So that one day tomorrow we can leave it behind
I sing.
