Symbiosis
Lately we haven't exactly been having the best of times
We call it a fight for a life, just living, living
Another nameless night
I'm lost again today
Symbols that we’ve been assigned
The subject is beginning to blur
Instead, the sky cries
Fallen rain
Shall we get wet today?
Yes, let's
Now all the languages have stopped
Close your umbrella and listen to what I have to say
The manipulation of our stolen voices and the violence of bricolage
They belittle us, they silence us
Tell us that life is not worth living
Let's kick off the lid of emotions buried inside
Release it all right here, right now
Anger is rising to a fever pitch
The fallen rain drying up
We know we need a battle song
Come back to us, broken spirituality
Towards the intersection
Now
Hallelujah Everything tangible
Hallelujah Everything that has no form
Hallelujah All we've encountered
Hallelujah Goodbye, Good morning Everything
Symbiosis

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
